I’m a professional football player, my sport requires loads and loads of twisting and turning every minute. I'm currently playing for a club in England which signed me even after I had my surgeries. I’ve had bilateral ACL reconstruction surgeries and I'll tell you one thing, it’s not going to be easy. You will have days when your body doesn’t feel like getting up because of how uneasy you feel every morning but you need to remind yourself that there is no other way. You have to get up and do your rehab consistently, focusing on every repetition of what your physiotherapist guides you through. I got lucky enough to get supervision, guidance, and support from Dr. Vimal, Dr. Mukul and entire team, helping me with a speedy recovery that put me back on the field in just 6 months. The journey has been interesting, full of highs and lows, random evenings of irritating pain and stiffness every now and then but I have fully recovered and my knees feel as good as new. So keep going, you’ve got this.
